The weather is fine. Mother is getting better. The rest of the family are well. We expect Etta Taylor tomorrow for a weeks visit. Hope you are both well. Etta Schwarz." Downtown Eagle, Colorado around 1911. The Laytons lived in California then moved to Colorado maintaining their stake in both CA and CO mining operations.
