"Mitchell is/was on the west side of Tennessee Pass. As one drives east, after passing Pando a few miles, the highway is right next to the railroad. Right at that location, on the other side of the track, are some kiln ruins. During 1890 there would have been a track beside the kilns. Assuming that the location is Mitchell that would be where Camp Hale was located in later years." -- Jimmy Blouch
