Crown Hill Cemetery
A description of the founding of Crown Hill Cemetery, one of the first cemeteries created in the Eagle Valley. "Enclosed you will find a brief sketch of the founding of Crown Hill Cemetery. I wanted you to know how we lived without a place for our dead, what we did without telephones, how we built our own coffins and how, at least one man could live among us and never really be known, and how a child grew to womanhood in those surroundings. There are other ways of telling the simple story but I thought this one quite effective." - Mabel Poage, 1889-1973.

Program of the comedy-drama, Diamonds and Hearts. Due to the other Eagle High School programs in this collections, this is likely a school performance but it is not indicated on the document. Date also unknown but, if a high school production, it is presumed to be 1921-1926 based on the list of student actors.
Dolly Duncan graduation speech, 1906
A hand-written graduation commencement speech given by Dolly Duncan in 1906. Dolly graduated from Garfield County High School, located in Glenwood Springs, in 1906.
Dolly Duncan homework and ledger book
A homework and ledger book belonging to Dolly Duncan. The first part of the book includes notes for a German class Dolly took in high school. The second part includes a ledger of expenses from 1906. Expenses are recorded for Dolly, in addition to J. D. Morgan, A. O. Steele, D. Hammond, James T. Wood, Bell Brothers, Sherman, French & Co., and Miller & Beach. A picture of a flower was found in the book, and was drawn by Dolly's son, Robert.

Dolly Webb's certificate of attendance award given on May 18, 1934. "Dolly Webb is awarded this Testimonial of Honor for Prompt and Regular Attendance at the Public Schools of Eagle, Colorado, and for being Neither Absent Nor Tardy for the School Year ending May 18, 1934. Witness our hands and seal, this 18th day of May 1934." Signed by Dolly's teacher, Erma Twiggs.

Donald Webb's certificate of attendance award given on October 18, 1932. "This Certifies That Donald Webb is Awarded this Testimonial for having NEITHER ABSENT NOR TARDY during the 1st 6 Week Period Ending Oct. 14, 1932. Given at Eagle, Colo., this 18th day of October, 1932. Eagle School." Signed by Donald's teacher, Erma Twiggs.
Eagle & Eagle County 1912
A brochure/pamphlet for visitors and travelers of Eagle and Eagle County, Colorado, published in the year 1912 by the Eagle Commercial Club based in Eagle. The pamphlet is 25 pages and includes advertisements for local businesses, hotels, and restaurants; economic and industry information; recreation such as wildlife and fishing; and many photographs from the time period of life in the area. Other towns in the county are mentioned throughout: Gypsum, Red Cliff, and Gilman. Page 2, a photograph of the town of Eagle, is a tri-fold pull-out page attached to the cover of the pamphlet. Local people and business owners are mentioned by name and referenced as often as possible., Items are scanned as they are presented. Many items were printed crooked and/or off-center and are therefore presented this way online.
Eagle County High School 1916 Graduation program
A graduation program for the Eagle County High School 1916 graduation ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Independent Order of Odd Fellow (I.O.O.F.) Hall in Gypsum on May 18, 1916. The graduating class consisted of Mittie Alda Borah, Dorothy Doll, Jo Shryack, George Russell Spangler, and Louise Thomas.
Eagle County High School Diploma
A diploma presented to Imogene Louise Nottingham Doll on May 23, 1941 awarded for graduation from Eagle County High School (Gypsum, Colorado). The diploma is signed by principal Emmett Trys (?), school board president W.H. (William Henry) Lea, and school board secretary Kathleen O'Rourke.
