Fleming Lumber Company
Front view of the Fleming Lumber & Merc. Co., Red Cliff, CO, showing front door and boardwalk. Date in lower right corner: 1/7/1926. R. E. Fleming Lumber Framing yard
Taken from the Beck family's house, the Fleming Lumber framing yard is at midfield with Al Mann working on timbers. There is a shovel on the old road at the top of the photo, working on a road detour.
Fleming Sawmill
The old Fleming sawmill on the "potato patch" in Gore Creek. Highway 6 is visible in the background, as well as Red Sandstone Rd. The sawmill burned on August 31, 1954. [Title supplied from catalog prepared by the Eagle County Historical Society.]
