Headstone of Darrell Guy Barnes

A picture of Darrell Guy Barnes's headstone, taken in 1984. Darrell Barnes was born on December 19, 1922. He attended the Eagle High School and graduated in 1940. He was employed by New Jersey Zinc at Gilman after college graduation and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1943. He served as a radioman for 32 months and then returned to New Jersey Zinc. He became chief accountant at the Gilman office and assisted New Jersey Zinc offices in Pennsylvania and Tennessee. He passed away on September 24, 1981, at the age of 58. He is buried in Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle.

Helen Hart (Allen) was born in 1901. She became the wife of Joseph Dewey "Joe" Allen. The photograph is dated 1920, making her approximately 19-20 years old here.
