): An organization for retired teachers founded in part by Basil T. Knight, who was an original board member. The Teachers Board itself was founded by members of the Twenty-Five Year Club, a group for teachers that had taught in Mesa County schools for at least twenty-five years. Some members of the board also served on a legislative committee composed of retired teachers.

Rhone School District 7, Mesa County, Colorado

The Rhone School District served the Rhone area just east of Fruita and south of the Hunter District from 1884 to 1904. It administered the Rhone School beginning in 1895. In 1904, it became part of the Union High School District, which fed Fruita High School. This district, in turn, became part of Mesa County Valley School District 51 in 1951.
