A postcard with a photograph of Shoshone Falls Power Plant located in Glenwood Canyon near the Hanging Lake tunnels. The power plant is still in operation; the best view is from I-70 westbound. Alda wrote a message to her mother while visiting in Glenwood Springs on the back postmarked August 24, 1915: " Dear mother, got here about 1:30. We tried to get you from Eagle but the --- was out. Mrs. Collins isn't here yet. I met Helen Shyrack on the street. Forgot to tell you that Charles Duff is in Eagle. I'm going to call you later. It looks like rain now. Lovingly, Alda". Some text is unreadable as it is covered by the postmark. A 1 cent stamp is affixed.
