Studio portrait of Donald and Mabel Ginther taken for their 58th wedding anniversary on Dec. 12, 1988. After retirement, they moved from Minturn to Salida, Colorado, where this photo was taken. Don worked at Gilman and then for the Climax mine. He was also a handy man. He built a corner cupboard for Angela Beck to house some of Ollie Meyer's china. Mabel worked at the Minturn Post Office for Tad Collins. Their daughter, Carol, married Russell Beck. Bernard Ginthur, Don's brother, worked for Eagle County.
