A letter written by Y. B. P. to Joe McDonell, dated October 19, 1898, from Telluride. The letter is written on letterhead for The New Sheridan hotel. The New Sheridan is located in Telluride and is still in operation, having first opened its doors in 1895, following a fire that destroyed the first Sheridan Hotel.
It is unknown who Y. P. B. or Joe McDonell were, nor is it clear what their connection to the Doll Brothers was.

Letter to Mrs. Michael from Mrs. Ginther

A letter from Mrs. Winifred Ginther to Mrs. Edna (Edward) Michael. The Michaels owned and operated a feed mill and livery in Eagle until the business was sold in 1920. This letter, dated 1926, shows the Michaels in Englewood, Colorado, and keeping in touch with Eagle County friends. Mrs. Ginther describes the hardships of finding work, lack of new buildings developing in Eagle, and sad news of other friends' death and troubles. Mrs. Ginther describes being unable to make a phone call to her friend from Union Station in Denver and wasn't very happy about it.

Two letters written by M.E. Williams (page 1) and Peter Barth (page 2) to Frank Doll, dated December 4, 1900, from Gillett, Colorado. The letter's are written on letterhead for The Bon Ton, Confectionary, Cigars, Tobacco. Peter Barth's letter is written in German, and has been translated to English. M.E. Williams resided in Gillett, and was a barber. Peter Barth moved to Eagle County, and interacted with the Doll Brothers and Alfred Borah.
