Downtown Eagle
A photograph of Broadway Street in Eagle, Colorado. Buildings and businesses line the street, including the E.E. Glenn store. Glenn's was located at the corner of 2nd and Broadway at the time and was also the post office. Eagle Valley Enterprise offices were located across the street from Glenn's. People are gathered on horseback and/or in wagons.
Downtown Eagle
The photograph is printed on a postcard addressed to Ella Layton in Lee, California dated November 27, 1911 with the following message from a friend: "Here is a good picture of Eagle. The weather is fine. Mother is getting better. The rest of the family are well. We expect Etta Taylor tomorrow for a weeks visit. Hope you are both well. Etta Schwarz." Downtown Eagle, Colorado around 1911. The Laytons lived in California then moved to Colorado maintaining their stake in both CA and CO mining operations.
Downtown Eagle

Downtown Leadville
A group of people and some children stand in front of the Vienna Laundry located at 809 Harrison Avenue in Leadville, Colorado. (The Tabor Opera House is located at 308 Harrison Avenue.) A wood plank sidewalk is visible in front of the businesses with other buildings and homes visible behind the laundry. Marked in the group is Mary Grant (Borah). This particular area is now a street corner.
Dr. Conway and Starr Doll
Dr. William Lawrence Conway with his granddaughter, Lillian Naomi Higdon, now Starr Doll. Dr. Conway is leaning down and touching Freckles, the dog. Dr. O. W. Randall and Mary Splaner
Eagle County dentist, Dr. O. W. Randall, with his assistant, Mary Splaner, working on a patient at Gilman, Colorado. Dr. Randall visited the various communities in Eagle County, providing dental services. He also is known for his involvement with the Mount of the Holy Cross pilgrimages. Dr. William Lawrence Conway
Studio portrait of Dr. WIlliam Lawrence Conway, beloved doctor in Gypsum for many years. Dr. Conway wears collar and tie with tie tack and a lapel pin. He holds a cigar in his left hand. "Dr. Conway was company doctor for the railroad company at Tercio [now extinct town in Las Animas County], before [moving] to Gypsum" -- Eagle Valley Enterprise, 12-21-67.
