Store & Hotel in Fulford
The old hotel and store in Fulford, Colorado. At its peak, Fulford once supported its own newspaper, post office, and school. The mines never did produce as expected and the town soon dwindled as its residents moved down the mountain.
Store fronts in Snow

Story time with Joe Dice sign
A sign promoting "Story time with Joe Dice at the Eagle Library." Dice read several chapters from his mother, Helen Dice's book, "A Cup of Clear Cool Water: Life on Brush Creek," in commemoration of its second publishing in 1999. The event was part of the Eagle Flight Days.

Strawberry Day postcard, 1912
A postcard advertising Strawberry Day in Glenwood Springs, taking place June 21-22, 1912. An annual event celebrating the strawberry harvest of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. It began in 1898, and is ongoing. According to the Glenwood Springs Visitor’s Center, it is the longest continually held civic celebration west of the Mississippi River. It began as an agricultural festival. At one time, a bicycle race between Grand Junction and Glenwood was held as part of the festival.
