- A fabric cover for the 1943 Sweetwater Club yearbook. This chapter was part of the Home Demonstration Club. Home Demonstration Clubs, often referred to as "H.D. Clubs," were part of U.S. Department of Agriculture Extension Offices and often organized by women in their communities. Womens' Home Demonstration Clubs served an educational and social purpose for women to learn home improvement, household equipment training and purchases, and general education and community building. H.D. Clubs were known to hold fundraisers, educational seminars and sessions, and various community gatherings.
