The caption notes:, "Coaches for the D&RGW narrow gauge "Silverton" westbound at Los Pinos tank en route from the Alamosa shops to Durango, Colo. for the last time in May, 1967. Part of this route is now the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad.

Lerader Residence Ater the Food of 1911 (Durango, Colo.)

Two houses in flood., #4 nearly the same as #3 showing Lerader house lodged against tree. This place had many fine flowers, shrubs, trees and a lawn. Also fine stone wall all along the river front. There is now no soil left, just stone and gravel. Main St bridge far left.
