- Roudy has been a staple of Telluride, Colorado since 1970. A true character known for riding his horse into the Sheridan Bar on occasion. He also owns a successful horseback riding enterprise, works in TV and Film, and successfully battled his own demons. - His parents and family moved from South Dakota to Palisade, Colorado when he was around 13 years old. His father farmed, and Roe later became a sheep rancher. After he met his wife, Lois (Hollinger) Saunders, they farmed near Mack. Saunders Field House on the Colorado Mesa University campus is named after him.
