: Stanley Miller; Owner of a candy and confectionary store on Main Street in Grand Junction, Colorado, next to the McConnell-Lowe Shoe Store between 4th and 5th Streets. His store space was small, and so he decided to expand it. He expanded to the south, toward the alleyway, and he planned on using the walls of the existing stores to his east and west to build the roof. When Morris Straus, the owner of the neighboring building found out, he forced Miller to build his own walls.
