: West Flagg; West Flagg was a barber in early Grand Junction, Colorado and Delta, Colorado. He arrived in Grand Junction in 1883, riding on the first passenger train that came into the city from Salida, Colorado.

: Weston "Sallie" Massey; One of the earliest settlers of the Unaweep Canyon in Mesa County, Colorado. He and his wife, Nellie (Foy) Massey, owned and operated a ranch in Unaweep Canyon for many years. He was born in Colorado Springs to Edward T. Massey and Mary E. (Bryan) Massey. 1900 US Census records show that his father was a dairy farmer. His mother was an Irish immigrant and homemaker. US Census records show that the family had moved to Mesa County, Colorado by at least 1910, when Weston was thirteen years old. There, the family lived on a cattle ranch in Unaweep Canyon, halfway between Uravan and Gateway. The Massey Ranch, as it was known, was owned and operated by Phillip's mother, who had been widowed by the death of Edward Massey. He married Nellie Foy on February 23, 1924. As the oldest son, control of the ranch apparently fell to Weston and Nellie. They continued to own and operate the ranch for many years, with his siblings and their spouses living and working alongside them.
