Lee Robert Willits
State Representative from Denver for two terms. he was also a county commissioner in Eagle County for several terms. Grandfather of Dudley Mitchell. Husband of Cornelia (Robinson) Willits.
Lee Spann
Married high school sweethearts Polly. Great grandfather began the family legacy, which he passed down to his descendants. Born on the ranch just west of Gunnison, Lee admits he’s one of those rare individuals who’s lived in the same house his whole life. He spent only a couple of years away from the operation while serving in the armed forces in Korea and while studying at Colorado State University. After that, it was back to the ranch, raising Herefords and building a family. Ever busy with boards and committees, Lee served on the Colorado State Board of Stock Inspection and the Colorado River District Board. He also worked with the local Jr. Livestock Committee and for the Western State Colorado University Foundation.
