Linda Keleher
-
Born in San Diego on Jan. 20, 1939, Linda enjoyed the California beaches and never lost her love of the ocean. Her family moved to Albuquerque, NM in the 1950s, where she captured the heart of John Keleher. They were married in 1965.
In 1973, Linda, John and their three boys, John, Christopher and Brian, moved to Aspen and were welcomed with open arms by the warm citizens of the community. The whole family became involved in the many actives and events Aspen offered, making many friends and creating many treasured memories.
Linda was an active community volunteer, contributing hundreds of hours to such organizations as The Thrift Shop, St. Mary Church, Aspen Ski Club, Aspen Hall of Fame committee and PEO.
Linda owned and operated the stationery store Just Paper of Aspen for many years, and enjoyed helping couples with invitations and marriage and birth announcements.
She loved being with family and friends, writing poems and ditties for special occasions, working with her flowers in the summertime and being involved with the activities of her children, her grandchildren and their friends.--Excerpt from Aspen Daily News article, 1-7-2014
