- Lowell Thomas
- A broadcaster who grew up in Victor, Colorado from the age of eight. Oral history interviewee Grace Hill Wade, describes him as a “delightful person”. She mentions that his father was a doctor in Cripple Creek, and that Lowell had grown up and delivered papers there. He left and later came back to Teller County to dedicate the Golden Cycle Mill. He had a coast-to-coast broadcast that he did from the Elk’s Club in Victor.
