- An early Twentieth century nurse in Telluride, Colorado. She was the daughter of German immigrants to Nebraska and then the Greeley, Colorado area. She graduated from high school in Greeley, and received nurse's training at the Greeley hospital. At the Colorado General Hospital in Denver, she received training in psychiatric nursing, and met and married Dr. Joseph James Parker.

- She was born on the southwest side of downtown Chicago. She moved with her husband and family to a farm in the Fruitvale area of Mesa County, Colorado in 1902.
