: Paul Lamacario Nichols; A Hopi Indian boy who lived at the Teller Institute, and helped the Nichols family with their fruit orchards in Fruitvale. Later, he was adopted by the Nichols family.

: Paul Le Brock Littler; He was born in Iowa to Edward C. and Sarah J. Littler. US Census records show him living in Iowa in 1900, at the age of nine, and in Ft. Collins, Colorado in 1910, at the age of 18. He was educated at the University of Colorado at Boulder. He married Dorothy Littler in 1922. They lived in Montrose, Colorado, where he practiced law. He was elected a District Judge in 1944, and he and his family moved to Grand Junction, Colorado. They had two children.
