- Alvin Edward Borschell came to Grand Junction in 1895 with his parents John and Anna Gesberg Borschell. He graduated from Grand Junction High School and was a banker at Grand Valley National Bank. He was a life-long member of the First United Methodist Church in Grand Junction. He was also involved in several fraternal and community organizations.
