This house was built prior to 1886. The 1927-28 city directory indicates that Hays B. Gibson, a foreman with the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad, lived here. Gibson was also listed here in 1930-31. By 1951, this was the home of Mrs. F.A. Meinke. Ralph and Wilma Sweet Jived here in 1961.
