Pete Seibert Jr. - History Nugget 2 with Tony Mauro
Description
Pete Seibert Jr. described the aftermath of his father's (Pete Seibert Sr.) late 1950s trek up No Name Mountain with Earl Eaton. The duo looked at a large subalpine area apparently cleared by forest fires in the late 19th century. This area later became the Back Bowls of Vail Mountain.
Seibert recalled a humorous interlude at Williams Cafe in Minturn that his father related to him., This thumbnail image of Pete Seibert Sr. (www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article) is credited to Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.
