Steve Kennedy discusses the need for the legislation because of potential future developments in wetland areas. 3.) Airport requests votes for new county airport taxes to improve the airport's runway and to make other improvements. 4.)The EPA investigates the Louisiana Pacific's factory air admissions. Part-time resident, Joseph Hiland, is arrested for smuggling 100 tons of marijuana. 2.) Snow pack declined in February, but has improved to average (about 4 feet in town park), in the last 6 days of March. 3.) New $4500 tuition policy could lead to a battle over school district boundaries, removing school solar panels, alternative teaching certificates, and waiver on housing. 4.) Plans to close the recycling center. 5.) KOTO fundraising was a success. NPR was well-supported, but rock and roll DJs won the silver tongue award. 6.) Jessica Hunter, Chelsie Mann, and Jessie Rieveman gives the sports update for the middle and high school miners. March 7, 1991: Jon Kovash.
