On March 9, 2018, Ximena Rebolledo Leon, was interviewed by Gloria Chavira, about her life and time in Telluride, Colorado (since 2000). The volume on this recording is low. Here is a summary of the interview: History of Ximena Rebolledo León's life in Telluride. Ximena focuses on changes in Telluride, upon her arrival in 2000. Changes include a larger community, more tourists, and more wealth. Ximena also discusses the very wealthy versus the working class in Telluride and her careers, both as a teacher and as a nurse. Ximena also talks about the challenges of being an immigrant and an increase in the Latino population in Telluride. Also discussed are the challenges of living in Telluride, such as lack of professional opportunities and limited health care facilities. Also: lack of nationalities, cultures, and sexual minorities. Finally, the current challenges that the community faces, such as an increase in its growth.
