"The Valley of Enchantment", Symphonic Band Suite, Ferde Grofe's musical depiction of the Gunnison Country, will be premiered at the 1958 Summer Music Camp. Grofe will conduct the performance. Announcement of this "first performance" to be played at the final music camp concert, August 22, 1958, was made by President P.P. Mickelson of Western State College.
