A typed letter written by Edward T. Taylor to Chas K. Phillipps, dated November 22, 1899, from Glenwood Springs. The letter concerns the "Slaughter-Doll case." Edward T. Taylor was a lawyer with a private practice in Glenwood Springs. He served as a U.S. Representative from Colorado. A member of the Democratic Party, he served 17 terms in the U.S. House, from 1909 to 1941. Charles "Chas" K.
